Human Rights & Anti-Trafficking Policy

Policy Statement

Vitalex Ltd is committed to upholding the highest standards of human rights and ethical conduct across all aspects of our business. We fully support the principles set out in the Human Rights Act 1998, the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and internationally recognised frameworks such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions.

We have zero tolerance for any form of forced labour, child labour, human trafficking, or exploitation within our operations or supply chain.

1. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All employees, directors, and contractors of Vitalex Ltd.
  • All suppliers, subcontractors, and business partners involved in the production, distribution, or sale of our products.

2. Our Commitments

Human Rights

  • Treat all employees with fairness, dignity, and respect.
  • Provide safe and healthy working conditions.
  • Ensure fair pay, reasonable working hours, and freedom of association.
  • Prohibit discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, gender, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.

Anti-Trafficking & Modern Slavery

  • Maintain a zero-tolerance stance on slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking.
  • Conduct due diligence on suppliers to ensure compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
  • Require suppliers to confirm they do not engage in, or support, modern slavery or trafficking practices.
  • Take immediate action if we identify risks or violations within our supply chain.

3. Implementation

  • All contracts and supplier agreements will include clauses relating to compliance with human rights and anti-slavery obligations.
  • Regular supplier audits and checks will be carried out where proportionate.
  • Employees are trained to identify and report any concerns related to human rights or trafficking.
  • A confidential reporting mechanism is in place for staff or partners to raise concerns without fear of retaliation.

4. Responsibilities

  • Board of Directors: Overall responsibility for ensuring this policy is implemented and reviewed.
  • Management Team: Day-to-day responsibility for enforcing the policy and carrying out due diligence on suppliers.
  • Employees: Responsibility to comply with the policy and report concerns.

5. Review

This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains effective and aligned with legal requirements and best practice.
