Built component-by-component, not off the shelf
We review your preference card, strip out what never gets opened, and confirm every remaining component in writing before a single pack is made. What arrives in theatre is the pack your team asked for.
Your Preference Card Is the Specification
Most procedure packs are sold as a fixed list and the theatre adapts around them. We work the other way round. Send us the preference card, or let us sit in and observe a list, and we will build the pack against what is actually opened and used. Components come in, components come out, and the pack that arrives is the pack your team wanted.
Published theatre-waste studies consistently show a significant share of pack contents opened but never used. The Green Surgery Report and the Royal College of Surgeons both place reducing that waste above recycling it in the waste hierarchy. Right-sizing a pack is therefore the single most effective sustainability action available to a theatre, and it lowers cost per procedure at the same time.
How it works
We go through your preference cards or observe a list, and record what is opened, what is used and what is discarded unopened.
We build a component-by-component specification with you and confirm it in writing before anything is ordered.
You receive a sample pack to evaluate against a real list before committing to volume.
Once signed off, the pack becomes a defined Vitalex code with consistent contents on every reorder. Standard packs are quoted the same working day; bespoke builds within 48 hours.
We revisit the specification annually, or whenever your technique or implant system changes.
